It effectively replaces traditional "tape groups," eliminating the need for physical tapes or reliance on a PC or Mac emulation. Users can create playlists from recordings stored in their iTunes library and synchronize them with their iPhone or iPad for seamless operation.

The app features a user-friendly interface that allows for straightforward playback management. Key controls include play/pause, marking the end of a sequence, restarting a sequence, quick skip or backup, and volume adjustment. Additional functionalities such as a tip timer for dancer rotation, track navigation, undo options (exclusive to iPad), and support for Bluetooth keyboards enhance its usability.

Integration with iTunes enables users to organize playlists efficiently through smart playlist creation and sorting capabilities, facilitating the design of custom dances.
